Location
An Iconic Setting
The property that now forms the Boathouse was originally four fisherman’s cottages before the Glyn Y Weddw Estate began using the building to house its rowing boats. There can be few more iconic houses in the whole of North Wales than those situated on Llanbedrog Beach.
Outstanding Beauty
Believed to be one of only two beaches in the UK that can boast deciduous trees growing directly onto the sand it is no wonder that Llanbedrog is designated as an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Llanbedrog Beach
The outstanding feature of the property is the magnificent direct beach frontage. At low tide the sandy beach stretches for 4 miles while at high tide the sea laps against the boundary wall of the property!
The Locals
Befriend the local fisherman and you will often be offered the pick of their catch, including Sea bass, lobster and Mackerel! Dolphins are also regular visitors to Llanbedrog Bay!
Walking and Hiking
For those who enjoy walking there is an abundant choice of walks ranging from long beach strolls to challenging hikes along the rugged peninsular top. Within the area there are many fantastic restaurants including the gorgeous coffee shop at The Plas Glyn Y Weddw and Aqua Beach Bar which is right on the beach.
Private Balcony Views
When from your own private balcony or terrace you can see the entire beach, viewing four miles of sand at low tide and the sea lapping up against the front wall of the property at high tide, together with the entire Snowdonia mountain range, you may just be tempted to stay where you are.
